Childrens’ National Medical Center, Wash. DC
The Childrens’ National Medical Center, located in Washington, DC is the premier childrens’ healthcare facility in the country. Centric Creative was invited by the donation marketing group to create a Donors’ Wall located within the hospital. The design included a “never-ending” puzzle, with donor’s names embossed on acrylic puzzle pieces surrounding the CNMC’s logo. At the base of the wall, seven LCD monitors cycle colorful artwork from patients. The donor wall was such a success, that the hospital invited Centric to create an “uplifting” component to the hospital’s main atrium. Working with the hospital’s chosen architect, Centric created a design utilizing fabric hot-air balloon style hanging fixtures in varying sizes and heights. To this day, the mobile is a hit with children young and old.
